Since I was in my elementary days I am an avid fan of four awesome green heroes who loves pizza. These ninjas were my idols ever since. From Leo’s leadership, Donnie’s intelligence, Mikey’s goofiness and of course Raph’s aggressiveness. The last time I was able to watch them in television was year 1996. When these green guys are back in screen by 2003 I introduced them to my girls, just like me they loved them! Luckily hubby also likes these half shell heroes. 🙂

The return of these turtles by 2012 in NICKELODEON was timely to me having a little boy. And yes, they are one of his favorite TV characters. He likes them all especially Raphael. When asked why, “Because he is strong!” Haha

Last 2014, Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures released a reboot movie entitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The clip our family liked the most was when they were in the elevator and performed a short rap. 😀 My little boy even asked me to have it downloaded in his tablet. That movie was his favorite for almost 2 months!!!
This 2016, we got really excited as they released a sequel entitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. We definitely wouldn’t miss watching it in the big screen.
Luckily for us, as we checked Nick-asia.com, they were giving away FREE tickets for 4, for the Premier Movie Screening. And yes, we WON!!! Woot! Woot! The kids were so excited and can’t hardly wait, oh well, OK, I admit, I was MORE excited than they are! 😀 But then as we were still overwhelmed by winning the tickets, I got a word from Richprime Global Inc. that on that same day, they, together with Nickelodeon and Toy Kingdom will launch an unveiling of the Turtles. Who can get luckier than we did. 😉
On June 1, 2016, the Mall Atrium at the SM Mall of Asia was turned into GROUND ZERO NEW YORK. It was like you really are in New York. They set up a maze for the kids, and a small obstacle race track.
There was a short trivia game for the Ninja Turtle Fans. My little boy get to win a prize too. 🙂
There are also merchandises up for grabs, shirts, action figures, even plushies! So cute!
At the other side, they placed a mini-game for the kids. The Laser Lockdown Challenge. It was a dark room with lasers. Kids need not to touch or get hit by the lasers in order to get outside. I wasn’t able to get inside, – too many kids inside – and taking pictures inside with flash will ruin their playing experience. 🙂

Safety gears and safety reminders.
Kids need to wear these protective gears before playing.
Finally! The much awaited unveiling!
BOLDER. BIGGER. BADDER.
It was like the real thing!!! They are really huge! People just can’t get enough and took their selfies & groufies with these life-size turtles.
After much excitement from the big reveal, next stop was the cinema. As we fall in line to claim our tickets, we were greeted by a bunch of ninjas. These ninjas are very friendly and talented. They danced, performed a few tricks and allowed kids to have their picture taken with them.
The best part aside from the movie were the FREEBIES!!! Popcorn, candies, chocolates PLUS games for kids! It was so much fun! 🙂 The movie was GREAT! My little boy got hooked on it. I was amazed at how he got to understand the movie. Maybe it was just because these TURTLES really amazes him.
Once again, thank you so much to Nickelodeon Asia for the movie ticket give-away and Richprime Global Inc and Toy Kingdom Ph for the activities during the TMNT Unveiling. Cowabunga!!!
