TMNT Out of the Shadows

Since I was in my elementary days I am an avid fan of four awesome green heroes who loves pizza. These ninjas were my idols ever since. From Leo’s leadership, Donnie’s intelligence, Mikey’s goofiness and of course Raph’s aggressiveness. The last time I was able to watch them in television was year 1996. When these green guys are back in screen by 2003 I introduced them to my girls, just like me they loved them! Luckily hubby also likes these half shell heroes. 🙂

The return of these turtles by 2012 in NICKELODEON was timely to me having a little boy. And yes, they are one of his favorite TV characters. He likes them all especially Raphael. When asked why, “Because he is strong!” Haha

Last 2014, Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures released a reboot movie entitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The clip our family liked the most was when they were in the elevator and performed a short rap. 😀 My little boy even asked me to have it downloaded in his tablet. That movie was his favorite for almost 2 months!!!

This 2016, we got really excited as they released a sequel entitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. We definitely wouldn’t miss watching it in the big screen.

Luckily for us, as we checked Nick-asia.com, they were giving away FREE tickets for 4, for the Premier Movie Screening. And yes, we WON!!! Woot! Woot! The kids were so excited and can’t hardly wait, oh well,  OK, I admit, I was MORE excited than they are! 😀  But then as we were still overwhelmed by winning the tickets, I got a word from Richprime Global Inc. that on that same day, they, together with Nickelodeon and Toy Kingdom will launch an unveiling of the Turtles. Who can get luckier than we did. 😉

On June 1, 2016, the Mall Atrium at the SM Mall of Asia was turned into GROUND ZERO NEW YORK. It was like you really are in New York. They set up a maze for the kids, and a small obstacle race track.

There was a short trivia game for the Ninja Turtle Fans. My little boy get to win a prize too. 🙂

There are also merchandises up for grabs, shirts, action figures, even plushies! So cute!

At the other side, they placed a mini-game for the kids. The Laser Lockdown Challenge. It was a dark room with lasers. Kids need not to touch or get hit by the lasers in order to get outside. I wasn’t able to get inside, – too many kids inside – and taking pictures inside with flash will ruin their playing experience. 🙂

BOLDER. BIGGER. BADDER.

It was like the real thing!!! They are really huge! People just can’t get enough and took their selfies & groufies with these life-size turtles.

After much excitement from the big reveal, next stop was the cinema. As we fall in line to claim our tickets, we were greeted by a bunch of ninjas. These ninjas are very friendly and talented. They danced, performed a few tricks and allowed kids to have their picture taken with them.

The best part aside from the movie were the FREEBIES!!! Popcorn, candies, chocolates PLUS games for kids! It was so much fun! 🙂 The movie was GREAT! My little boy got hooked on it. I was amazed at how he got to understand the movie. Maybe it was just because these TURTLES really amazes him.

Hot Wheels Epic Race THE FINALS 2016

Summer’s over but our family still can’t get enough of our little boy’s Epic Experience. Few weeks ago I posted about our epic racing experience, now it finally came to an end.

Our little boy, was one of the 20 qualifiers for the EPIC RACE FINALS, along with 40 more kids from the South and the North of Luzon. My kiddo and I were very excited and even counted our number of sleeps before the Big Day.

During the semi-finals, kids were given a time to warm-up their cars by participating in various activities: building tracks, jumping on loops and racing with their friendly competitors.

The area was jam-packed! Parents and kids alike are excited and thrilled to once again try their luck on the Gravity Racing Platform.

We made it once again to the final round!!! Woohoo! Finalists are to be back the following day for the last and final round.

On the day of the big event, Toy Kingdom had a few more competitions for our kids and dads. The competition, named as Track Wars, is inline with the Hot Wheels’ new product The Track Builder System.

 Winners from the mini competition.

The 35 kids gave their very best for the Final Round. All hopes were up as they release their cars as the host shout for GO! But there can only be 1 EPIC Record breaker. Congratulations Richmonde Borja! 🙂

Paw Patrol Fan

My little one is a fan of Nick Jr. TV shows. He’ll start to watch by 8 am till noon. This is a part of our morning routine everyday for over a year now. It’s what keeps him busy as I do my chores. His fave among the shows is Paw Patrol, and two of his most fave pups are Chase and Marshall. Last week, when I saw Toy Kingdom’s ads about the upcoming  paw Patrol Meet & Greet, I got excited and told my son about it. Raix was so excited that we even counted how many sleeps left before the event day. 🙂

Sharing with you mommies some photos taken during the event. It was a two day event held at SM MOA, Music Hall.

Just outside the event area Toy Kingdom has Paw Patrol Merchandises up for grabs.

Upon purchase of an item worth 500 Php and above one (1) kid and a parent can get inside the event area. Kids are a given a certificate, this certificate are to be presented at each activity for stamp completion. Once completed a small prize awaits the kids.

This is Rocky’s Don’t Lose it, Reuse it booth. A kid needs to get 5 recyclable items and put it in the recyclable bin.

Rubble’s  booth. To get a stamp, a kid needs to get hollow blocks and place it in the big crate.

Skye’s Salon. Face painting booth. Kids get to choose which pup/badge they want to be painted on their hand.
